aperi Home – technology for the care of tomorrow

In recent years, the focus is more on home care and a lot of technologies are developed to live independently at home for a longer period of time. aperi Home wants to give the appropriate answer to this subject.

More than a classic call system

With aperi Home we pay attention to the needs of the resident, without losing sight of the needs of the volunteer and the professional caregiver. aperi Home is a 10″ touchscreen that can easily be installed in the home of the resident. By bringing together different applications on one platform, aperi Home gives peace of mind to each person.

The story of Mariette

aperi helps to bridge the distance and to improve communication between residents and their family

Mariette is 75 years and a widow since last year. She is still living at home independently, but her age is starting to play tricks on her. She refuses to ask for help, and so her son Paul is often worried. His daily visit after work gives him peace of mind, but when the evening falls, the worries gnaw again.

Recently, Mariette has installed aperi Home in her living room. aperi Home watches over her safety, when Paul cannot do this. When Mariette gets up at night, aperi Home will automatically send an alarm to Paul’s smartphone when she is not back into her bedroom after a certain time. But aperi Home does much more then offering peace of mind.

Mariette can reach her granddaughter Sophie at any moment, thanks to user-friendly software. Sophie, at her turn, does not have to remember her grandmother to take her medication as aperi Home has an automatic medication reminder function.

When Sophie perceives that her grandmother has a slightly low blood pressure, she notes it in the back-and-forth notes on aperi Home. Once a week, nurse Ilse passes by to measure the values of Mariette. Ilse can see at a single glance how Mariette’s week has been and this allows her to give the appropriate care and she can report it via aperi Home.

In this way, Mariette, Paul, Sophie and Ilse have peace of mind at any moment of the day.
